The following values must be set:

  • Contact Only

    • Online Data Capture

    • Advice Managed

  • Contactless Only

    • EMV

In the configuration section, in the C4/American Express group, the following values must be set:

  • Use Default

    • Terminal Type with the value 21

    • Terminal Capabilities with the value 002888

    • Contactless Reader Capabilities with the value C0

Send the following file with the menu TMS > Keys > Send CA Keys:

Administrative

The following values must be set:

  • Default Transaction Type with the value 00

  • Contactless

  • Trace Depth with the value 00

  • Default Language with the value 00

  • Amex Legacy

The following values must be unset:

  • Key In

  • Signal

  • DE Callback

  • APDU Log

  • UI Display

  • Id Message Display

  • Tag Log

  • Digital Signals

Send the following file with the menu TMS > Keys > Send CA Keys:

Administrative

The following values must be set:

  • Default Transaction Type with the value 00

  • Contactless

  • Trace Depth with the value 00

  • Default Language with the value 00

  • Key In

  • Signal

  • UI Display

  • Amex Legacy

  • Id Message Display

  • Digital Signals

The following values must be unset:

  • DE Callback

 

PIN

If the message “Please enter PIN” is displayed on the phone, the PIN is entered in ACE-Client > Terminal UI.

Click on the buttons with numbers until there are at least 4 '*' displayed on the phone then click on "Enter" button.

You may have to click several times on the buttons with numbers and/or the 'Enter" button before the phone takes it into account.
