Transaction Mode:

Since JCB1.6 JCB 1.6 -> v1.0.24 the transaction mode is now provided by tag 0xDF817F on one byte 0x07 for EMV and 0x98 for Legacy mode. This tag identified as unknown is added in the Data Records.

SoftPos / Amadis One Certification:

For a softPos, using the ToP (Tap On Phone application on the cell) there are some operations to do before the certification all using ACE Client:

Configuration files (located in ACE Client/Data/JCB/) , must be sent as well to the device each time the cell or application is restarted, with:

• Key file

Open

• Revocation Key file if option is supported

Open

• Exception list if option is supported

• Administrative flags

• Language file

use this file.

Note: The probe must be removed from the cell after each transaction (NFC Field cellular limitation)

Online Pin CVM; For test cases requiring to enter a PIN, this is done using the ACE Client Terminal UI, use the keys from the virtual terminal and press ENTER for sending the online PIN Authorization.
