Introduction
The Agnos Virtual Terminal (AVT) is an Application that simulates an EMV Payment Acceptance Device running on a PC with PC/SC Readers.
The AVT implements the ACE2P Protocol to communicate with the ACE-Client through a TCP/IP Connection.
The AVT helps understanding how a Physical Payment Terminal shall be interacting with the ACE-Client :
for Training purposes
for performing single EMV Payment Transactions
for performing L2 Certification
for simulating a Sale System
for simulating an Issuer Host
for simulating a TMS
for taking advantage of the tools provided by the ACE-Client
ACE and Kizis are integrated through a specific protocol: ACE2P. That protocol shall not be used in production environments. It has been designed to support exclusively TA environments.
