  • For DPAS test cases asking for “no response from issuer and timer has expired”, use ACE check box “No authorization response”

  • For DPAS test cases asking for issuer scripts, use ACE check box “Issuer host simulator” and select the dpas10 script for the test case you want to run

  • For ZIP the following tests “Get Process Option, Unexpected tag” and “Read Record Response Unexpected Tag” are subject to a Waiver, tag 0x50 is read twice.

  • Test cases requiring to enter TRACK1 and.or TRACK2, follow this procedure, Enter what is in red from ACE CLIENT, we use the ASCII form. LRC is then converted into his ASCII value.

For D-PAS & ZIP tests, we use the ASCII contents, header and footer, and the LRC on one single digit, with these rules:

for example not 37 but the ASCII code 7, not 0B but B

if the LRC exceeds 0x39 you have to enter the corresponding ASCII value, as for example 0x3D you provide '='

value between 0 and 9 are set to the corresponding ASCII character '0' to '9' (no distinction between 0x04 and 0x34 for example)

Using this format without ( and ) for example for Track 1:

    • Image Added

Make a copy with the right click menu, and not a copy all in ACE Client.

So you have to prepare this:

%B6011111111111117^SMITH/JOHN ^08012010000300000100?7

last digit '7' is for the LRC = 0x37

And for Track2 for example:

...

You have to prepare that:

;6011111111111117=08012010000300000100?1

PLEASE READ CAREFULY: DPAS10 library support two different Discover products: DPAS and ZIP. ZIP is a legacy magstripe only product, slowly phasing out from the field, but still supported for now. DPAS and ZIP uses two different RID. There are two different TA to pass to qualify the DPAS10 kernel. From ACE Server there are two different configuration library to select (dpas10 and zip).
